Healthchecks expects a ping on a schedule. logs.so expects an event on a channel you already instrumented. If that event stops, Pro can open an incident and email confirmed subscribers.
Where the products overlap
- An expected rhythm: this job should have run by now
- A grace period so a late job is not immediately an incident
- A notice when the rhythm breaks
What logs.so adds
- No separate ping endpoint is required. Use the events your server already sends
- The feed shows what did arrive, not only that a heartbeat was missing
- The same missed rhythm can publish on a public status page
